The mega bag was designed and manufactured to contain flooding in areas of difficult access and limited resources.

​

The main objective of this project was to develop a flood containment system for remote and difficult to access locations. Therefore, as a first attribute it should be a solution that takes up little space in transport, can be easily transported by land or water, be economical, environmentally friendly, very durable and produced quickly for extreme emergencies. It can be handled and filled with material present in the area using basic heavy machinery such as excavators, allowing it to be installed almost anywhere.

The project consisted of a design, manufacturing, testing and implementation process.
