The Stump Cutter was designed and manufactured for the removal of stumps, dead roots and log handling.

​

The main objective of this project was to develop an accessory that could be installed on a Caterpillar 320 excavator or an excavator with similar characteristics, it had to be able to be coupled to the hydraulic system. This accessory should allow handling logs with a maximum diameter of 80 cm and a minimum of 35 cm. Stumps that exceed the maximum diameter must be destroyed and then removed in parts. Based on it's operating conditions, it is made of wear-resistant materials.

The project consisted of a complete process of research, design and development, manufacturing, testing, implementation.
