The Electro-flocculator was created with the purpose of clarifying wastewater resulting from mining processes in a cost-efficient way compared to traditional methods.

​

Using the principles of an electrochemical process called electrocoagulation and after several tests with different voltage configurations and materials in order to find the optimum point of operation. A modular and energetically independent floating equipment was achieved by means of a solar panel, with an estimated treatment rate of 1.5 cubic meters of water per hour, in addition  it is totally safe for both humans and fauna.
