The guard concept for bucket dredgers was designed with the aim of reducing the amount of suspended solids generated when soil is extracted from the bottom of mining wells.

This guard helps to contain and suction by means of a pump and several ducts located in such a way that they collect the greatest amount of sediment produced by the movement of the buckets.

​

This guard has a hinged assembly to facilitate maintenance tasks and the replacement of spare parts.
